Characteristics of the plant Tanacetum vulgare L.

Tanacetum vulgare L. is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant from Compositaea family, with yellow, button-like flowers and stout erect stem, usually smooth and branching near the top. It is common in grassy habitats everywhere in Bulgaria. It contains essential oils mainly thujone and other terpenes (borneol and thujol), flavonoids, tannic compounds and the bitter substance tanacetin.

    3 (three) years from the date of production.

    Store in cool and dry conditions, avoid direct sunlight.

    Tanacetum vulgare L is available in 10 kg PE bag, placed in carton box.

  • Application

    It is used alone or in combination with other plant extracts in production of food or feed additives.
